Valence-sur-Baïse. Lots of people for the opening of the Cavéa

The opening of the exhibition which has just opened at La Cavéa attracted many visitors. It is true that Amélie Boyer’s photos of the Gers villages are of exceptional quality. This exhibition, which is on loan from the inventory service of the Occitanie region, is also an illustration of the study carried out by Anaïs Comet on the villages and towns of Gers at the end of the Middle Ages: it is designed as a photographic walk which highlights 21 sites, both in terms of landscapes and architecture. Anaïs Comet treated us to a brilliant conference on Valencia in the Middle Ages before the opening. The exhibition was organized as part of the 750th anniversary of the Bastide, with La Cavéa participating in this commemoration. “From valleys to hillsides, Gersoise stroll” will be installed until May 29 at the Cultural Space.

Upstairs, it’s a completely different universe offered to us by the visual artist Fabrice Guisiano, who studied art. “Deployment”, the title of his exhibition, reflects the breadth of his palette. Color reigns in what Fabrice offers, and the materials as diverse as they are varied show the artist’s ongoing research work. You will meet a passionate man who will transmit his passion to anyone who ventures to ask him the slightest thing about his works.

These 2 exhibitions will be visible from Tuesday to Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Cultural Space. FREE ENTRANCE. Information on 06 73 64 07 77 or by email [email protected]
