The “24 hour employment and training” fair (L4M) returns to The City of the Seafor a 6^e edition in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin (Manche), on Thursday October 10, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..

Companies and training centers present

“This show opens up new professional horizons with nearly 50 companies and training centers looking for their future collaborators or learners”, presents the exhibition organizer, L4M, which came to Cherbourg for the first time in 2019 and then attracted 1,500 candidates.

Free, open to all

The living room is free et open to all the profiles, designed to “promote exchange and allow each of the candidates present to advance in their career or professional project”.

More than 300 positions are to be filled in various sectors: commercebanking, transport, agri-food, nuclear, distribution, industryenergy, transport, environmentsecurity/defense, etc. With a variety of contracts (permanent contract, fixed-term contract, temporary work, internship, work-study contract, etc.).

At a time of digitalization of the recruitment process, L4M is choosing proximity and human contact: “The human factor should not be neglected in a recruitment process. Compared to online applications, fairs present a chance for candidates to make a good impression face-to-face. Companies value candidates who are interested in their activities and their professions. »

Everyone thus has the opportunity to find a position or training “that suits them”, and to “directly prove their motivation to the recruiters present”.

A coaching workshop

This is new in this 2024 edition of 24 hours for employment and training: a coaching workshopalso free and open to all. Organized with the association La Cravate Solidaire Caen, it will allow us to collect advice for prepare for an interview and organize your job search.

Two conferences

The 24 hour fair for employment and training is also two conferences.

The first takes place from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., with the Mef du Cotentin: “How to optimize contact with recruiters”

The second, from 2:15 p.m. to 3 p.m., hosted by Greta: “How to succeed in your professional reconversion? »
