Louis Vuitton teams up with chef Cyril Lignac to open café-restaurant in London

After Doha, Saint-Tropez and Osaka, Louis Vuitton is preparing to open a new culinary address. The brand is joining forces with starred French chef Cyril Lignac for an ambitious and inspiring project: the opening of a café-restaurant at London Heathrow airport.

The Louis Vuitton house continues its foray into the field of lifestyle and plans to soon open, in collaboration with Cyril Lignac, a café-restaurant in Terminal 2 of Heathrow Airport, in London. This collaboration, the first between the renowned chef and the luxury brand, is a new step in the gastronomic expansion of Louis Vuitton.

Luxury and lifestyle: the Louis Vuitton signature

In recent years, Louis Vuitton has no longer limited itself to the world of luxury fashion and accessories. Indeed, the house, a subsidiary of the LVMH group, has been able to broaden its influence by investing in the field of gastronomy and more generally in that of lifestyle.

In 2022, Louis Vuitton collaborated with chef Yannick Alléno for the opening of an exclusive lounge at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, or with the talented Japanese chef Yosuke Soga for the opening of a restaurant in Osaka. It is now in London that the luxury brand will spread its DNA.

Located at Terminal 2 of Heathrow Airport, this new space is part of Louis Vuitton’s desire to offer a unique immersive experience, where luxury, the art of living and hospitality are at the heart of every detail .

A gastronomic experience designed for travelers

For this café-restaurant project, the famous starred chef Cyril Lignac has imagined a menu in line with his usual creations: gourmet, technical and accessible. As announced by the Journal du Luxe, passengers who stop at Heathrow Terminal 2 will be able to taste signature dishes such as croque-monsieur, eggs à la royale, curry crab salad, lobster rolls. …

Beyond savory dishes, Cyril Lignac will also bring his pastry know-how. Indeed, lovers of sweets will be able to discover a selection of creations featuring the iconic designs of the Louis Vuitton house.

On the design side, we should find futuristic architecture, tinged with touches of red, yellow, blue and white and an always refined atmosphere. For Louis Vuitton, this is about continuing to combine luxury and experience, bringing its customers much more than fashion, but a global art of living.
