Saturday 18, Sunday 19 and Monday 20 May, will take place the contemporary art event which marks the life of Razes and Limouxin in spring. The Heritage and Culture association invites 4 different artists each year and nearly 80 creators have participated in the Mai des Z’arts for 20 years.

The artists. Geneviève Bozec creates textile sculptures, suspensions of wool or cotton ropes, and also uses thread for embroidery on paper.

Eliette Chalet, painter and sculptor, draws inspiration from the female body to awaken emotions.

Anne Noubel worked as a photographer in the world of cinema and music in the 1980s. Her previously unpublished photos on display date from that time.

Zoé Ortéga, from Toulouse, is a young artist who paints figurative works in oil paint around plants and animals.

The exhibitions are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the village hall, church and garden. Friday May 17at 6:30 p.m., the opening will take place in the presence of artists and personalities from the region.

Sunday at 4 p.m., in the village hall, the Les Oreilles d’Aman orchestra, specially brought from Marseille, will liven up the afternoon to the rhythm of Klezmer music.

The opportunity to discover contemporary art while learning about traditional Yiddish music from Central Europe.

A refreshment bar will be available to visitors.
