A little further down the alley, Denis stands guard in front of his food truck. Brazil jersey on his back, the Belgian runs a food stand typical of Brazil, the country of origin of his partner Lucy. On the stalls: empanadas, pastel or coxinhas. “ The coxinhas are our stars, he explains. These are fried donuts filled with chicken, beef or vegetarian. »

Two stands away, a pirate flag welcomes us. At the Straw Hat, everything is decorated like the manga One Piece.We do nomadic catering, develops Christopher, the owner of the place. The reference to One Piece, it’s because we’re a bit like restaurant pirates. » Established in Touraine until recently, their dishes are based on local products.

Red fruits direct from the producer

Once the dish has been eaten, it’s time for dessert. And, for that, La Framboise givrée wants to be at the forefront. Only red fruits directly from producer to consumer. “ I make my own fruit, confirms Fanny. I am a farmer. I bought this food truck to get closer to the consumer, to come and meet them. »

Finally, we have to wrap it all up with a coffee. The Call of Café food truck is dedicated to that. “ What do my coffees have that’s different from others? It’s simple. They are made by quality roasters, says Kévin, the boss, grabbing a cup. This one for example comes from Peru. It has aromas of grapefruit. This is excellent quality coffee. »
