This Saturday evening the Italian committee of Péchabou invited the many Péchabbolians of origin from the country of the Dolce Vita, sunny cuisine and the great history of Rome, to a typically Italian meal in order to highlight the cultural and gastronomic aspects from Italy. This very popular meal brought together 66 guests who all left enchanted with their evening. This meal, 100% in the colors of Italian gastronomy, began with an aperitif with the essential Aperol Spritz. Breadsticks and cherry tomatoes followed as a starter with a specialty from Lombardy, little known in France with Vitello Tonnato, which is a cold starter composed of thin slices of roast veal, topped with a sauce based on tuna and anchovies. and capers… The consistent dish, with extremely tasty Bolognese lasagna on its side, enchanted the guests who were connoisseurs of this traditional dish. The president of the Italian committee, Stan Tiberghien, happy with the atmosphere of this festive evening, specified: “we are 14 volunteers, always happy to highlight the cultural and gastronomic aspects of Italy; this is the reason why everyone worked tirelessly, happy to highlight the cultural and gastronomic aspects of our dear Italy!” the atmosphere was based on the result and made it possible to measure the satisfaction of the guests, whose Italian wine to accompany the meal was not the only one likely to brighten up the atmosphere and the smile which was always on display… A delicious dessert with , your choice of Tiramisu or Semifreddo, always popular, brought the sweetness of the evening; it preceded the coffee surrounded by limoncello or Amaretto… We couldn’t have hoped for better…
