Three capes made by Laurence Magnanelli are entered into a raffle. The blue, white and red capes will be worn during the paseo by the three bullfighters competing this Saturday. They will then be displayed in the stands for the duration of the bullfight.

Ysabelle Castor, elected delegate to bullfighting events, explains: “We have issued 1,000 tickets for the raffle, at a price of €5. You can buy them at the Campanile hotel, where the blue cape is currently on display. But you can also find them at the arenas from this Wednesday, as well than at the Cévennes restaurant in its veins, at Jean-Yves Piccinali.”

In the chef’s establishment, located on Avenue Charles-de-Gaulle, the red cape takes pride of place in the main room. “We can buy tickets until Sunday noon, since we are open for lunch and dinner throughout the feria”specifies Jean-Yves Piccinali.

The draw will be made on Sunday afternoon, at the time of the last bullfight.

For several weeks, the white cape has continued to travel to the four corners of France.

As part of the promotion of the Alès feria, Didier Cabanis, the director of the arenas, took it to present it to bullfighting club aficionados.

Winning a paseo cape is an opportunity to which fans of bullfights toristas (a race where the toro is highlighted, as opposed to a bullfight torerista where the skill of the matador is particularly scrutinized) are very sensitive.
