For five days, from May 8 to 12, Bruguières will host a colorful festival. Created in 2016 by a collective of around twenty Toulouse musicians, “Échos & Merveilles” will bring together nearly 300 volunteers and 50 professional supervisors to welcome… 53,000 spectators expected at this edition! Around twenty troupes will offer activities intended for all audiences (costumed strolls, professional troubadours, activities for children, introduction to medieval fencing, giant fauns on stilts, etc.).

For its part, the partner association Les Ailes de Nemesis will put in place a large number of activities. Among them, we will attend a large national tournament of “Troll Ball”, a sporting and fun discipline practiced in the medieval-fantasy environment where two teams compete, but also a tournament of “Quidditch”, a mixed ball sport from the the imaginary universe of JK Rowling for the Harry Potter Saga, various introductions to medieval calligraphy, activities for children, an introduction to LARP “Large Life”, this role-playing game in which players physically embody a character in a universe fictitious, treasure hunts for young and old, etc…A grand opening evening, outdoors, will launch the Festival, Wednesday May 8, on the Grand Open Air where 4,000 spectators are expected. The Festival will also include 5 evenings of concerts at the Bascala, in addition to daytime concerts. Then, 3 evenings of concerts will take place on May 9, 10 and 11 at the Bascala as well. Finally, on Sunday May 12, once again on the grand Open Air, outside, a closing evening will be held which will complete this 6th edition of Roi Mundis, where 4,000 spectators are also expected. The Salon du Livre de l’Imaginaire will take place will be held on Sunday May 12 only, and indoors, at Bascala. 1000 m² will be devoted to literature and illustrations of the imagination and fantasy.
