The guitarist of Noir Désir on one side, a well-known photographer from Ariège on the other and to frame the Couserans aquatic center: between music, photography and swimming, “Immersio” promises an unusual experience on Friday October 4.
Friday October 4, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Saint-Girons Aquatic Center, Serge Teyssot-Gay and Anthony Jean will immerse volunteer swimmers in “Immersio”.
Serge Teyssot-Gay is none other than the guitarist of Noir Désir. Anthony Jean is a photographic artist well known for his talents in our region. “Immersio” is a unique artistic experience which offers everyone an hour to immerse themselves in an improvised concert by Serge Teyssot-Gay where the sound, broadcast underwater via underwater speakers, envelops and creates weightlessness. In this timeless space, the public, floating and dancing, invents a fluid choreography, becomes music, becomes a living element of the work captured live, underwater, by photographer Anthony Jean.
After the performance, a photo exhibition will be presented as part of the Mouvements festival, making each of the volunteers not only a participant, but also an actor in a collective work.
The evening is free and widely open to all.
A project born at Art’Cade, which, moreover, welcomes everyone on Saturday October 5, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., for its launch party of the new season with an exceptional concert. Indeed, that evening, Art’cade has concocted a special evening and invites Joris Ragel, associated artist 2023-2024, and Léon Lia, that of the new season, as well as an instrumental solo set by Serge Teyssot-Gay for an artistic and musical moment.
