Christian radio Phare FM pulls out all the stops to open the Games

Christian radio Lighthouse FM plans to introduce the period of the Games with a real fireworks display on its airwaves. On the one hand, by the number of athletes and sports professionals to whom the presenters will give the microphone and on the other hand, by presenting a bouquet of initiatives from local associations and churches involved in social actions, cultural events and neighborhood sports gatherings during the summer. Around fifty shows in all, not counting the music. The broadcasts will be broadcast live from the Maison du Protestantisme in from July 22 to 26 from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., a press release informs.

Other interventions will focus on themes such as success, mental and stress management or what it means to be the parent, spouse of a high-level athlete. At the same time, the “Living bus Phare FM”, a radio studio which will travel to the French capital, aims to be a place of life and to meet listeners. “It is a real place for interaction, dialogue and commitment with, in particular, actors from the associative world and Churches in the Paris region,” specify the organizers. It is therefore designed as a space where conversations are encouraged over a drink.

Lighthouse FM is a Christian radio station which broadcasts mainly in , but also in Belgium and . The focus set on the city of Paris is explained firstly by the aura of the Olympic Games, but also because this year, the radio has been broadcasting in the Paris region for ten years.
