Curved corners, round windows and places to daydream

Here, JR reinvents the aesthetic of the wagon in collaboration with renowned craftsmen. It infuses every detail and pattern with a captivating story, evoking a bygone era to create a truly immersive experience. Note that the Observatory suite is designed to accommodate only two guests.

Belmond – Belmond

As JR explains: “With the Observatory, people can enter into my imagination. I first imagined the wagon thinking about shapes, with curved corners and round windows, so that passengers would have small places to daydream. Guests can now step into an artist’s private space while being in one of the most luxurious suites in the world. Be able to experience this creative hub for the duration of a. journey is very special and has never been seen in this way before.”

This experience will be available for reservation this summer, for departures planned from March 2025.
