The CLAP IVOIRE festival is an important event in the world of cinema in West Africa, mainly focused on promoting young cinematic talents in the region.
Created to encourage and support young directors and cinema professionals from French-speaking African countries, this festival offers a unique platform for the discovery, recognition and dissemination of their works.

The festival attracts participants from several neighboring countries, including Benin, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and others, highlighting its status as a cultural crossroads for African cinema.
The main activities of the festival include the screening of short films and sometimes feature films, workshops, conferences and networking sessions.
The films in competition are evaluated by a jury of professionals who award prizes in several categories, thus recognizing the talent and creativity of the continent’s young directors.

CLAP IVOIRE aims to be a springboard for emerging filmmakers, offering them visibility both locally and internationally

Over time, the festival has helped enrich the African cinematic landscape by encouraging the production of quality films and highlighting stories that reflect the diversity and cultural richness of the continent.
