Descriptive text here

The 48th edition of Printemps de ended this Sunday, after six days of celebration in the city. Last concert at the W, and last walks in the aisles of the festival under the sun, after a few rainy days.

There were crowds this Sunday in the aisles of Printemps. The sun managed to chase away the to the delight of onlookers who came to enjoy the last day of the festival.

Place Séraucourt, the terraces are full. Ice creams, waffles, pancakes or granitas, it’s almost difficult not to come across someone who isn’t eating something. A real little taste of summer. Electro music on the Riffx stage, with artist Avrel Lavigne mixing behind his turntables.

From Berry or elsewhere, many came with their families to enjoy the last moments of the festival. An unmissable visit to the Berry province village to discover, or rediscover, local products. This is the case of Fanny and Martin. “We came for PLK and Niska. This is our last day. We enjoy the sun. Tomorrow, back to work! » These two Parisian friends are not lucky enough to have another week of vacation.

Below, around the Rives d’Auron, the party continues. Last concerts by amateur artists on the Berry stage, and last sales of bracelets, earrings and other handicraft objects. At the end of the afternoon, some exhibitors began to pack up.

Mr. Pokora offers a spectacular show at the W, for the end of the Printemps de Bourges

End clap for the W stage which welcomed Nej and Matt Pokora this Sunday.

The Maison de la Culture, for its part, closed the Teenspirit exhibition with the Radio nightclub and Sacem.

Last notes in the city’s bars

As for the bars, the Central, rue du Docteur-Témoin, always has a full house and street. As every year, it is the bars that have the first and last word of Printemps de Bourges.

All afternoon, Affoubertis performed there, mixing rock and French variety covers. At the Levrette Café, at the top of rue d’Auron, there was also a rock atmosphere with the Freakadelic Bottle Club.

It was the Murrayfield, the pub at the bottom of Place Gordaine, which handed over the keys to the festival, with, last night, Billy Bix Trio, Riendanstonfolk and DJ Ronnie.
No worries: Spring will return for a 49th edition next year. It will take place from Tuesday April 15 to Sunday April 20, 2025.
