Bingo! Here he is, the happy winner of… 3.50 euros. A very modest sum but which satisfies him. “I saw a gain of 3.50 euros and I was very happy,” he explains to the FDJ as reported by France Bleu Nord.
A few moments later, he realizes that he forgot to check the Euromillions-My Million code, a code of letters and numbers drawn at random every Tuesday and Thursday, from all the validated grids. That’s when this man’s life turned upside down.
“I couldn’t hold back my tears”
In fact, he not only won 3.50 euros but 1 million euros! “And there, I couldn’t hold back my tears because the emotion was so strong. A million euros thanks to the code, it’s just incredible,” says the winner.
In a twist of fate, the month of March seems to bring luck to this man. “In March, very beautiful things have often happened to me: the birth of loved ones, and now this win. It will become my favorite month.”
