The situation surrounding the Lucha Bros, Penta El Zero Miedo and Fénix, remains unclear. After several years in AEW, where they arrived in 2019, their contracts are coming to an end, which quickly fueled rumors about their possible departure for WWE.
According to a rumor reported by PWN this week, the Lucha Bros have signed a multi-year deal with WWE. However, this information has been contradicted by PWInsider and Fightful, who claim that Both wrestlers are still under contract with AEW, making a signing with WWE impossible at this point.
Despite these denials, the wrestling world is expecting the Lucha Bros. to join WWE. According to Fightful, Penta El Zero Miedo told multiple people this summer that he expected to sign with WWE and that they would prefer to join the main roster directly, bypassing NXT.
In short, although no official signing has yet taken place, the arrival of the Lucha Bros to WWE could be just a matter of time.
