The very first edition of the Francofolies in Tahiti is this Saturday, September 21. On stage to make you sing and dance, they are six artists of international, national and local renown: Pep’s, Raphaël, Skip the Use, Jason Mist, Sissa Sue O’kota’i and Kailoa. Highlighting the diversity of French-speaking music and enriching the cultural experience of the Polynesian public, such is the promise of this very first edition of the Francofolies in Tahiti, organized by the company LA Production Tahiti. Through the Francofolies, music, a valuable tool for social connection, will take on its full dimension.

This event is recognized nationally and internationally for its expertise and its commitment to defending the French language and artistic and musical creation. Luxembourg, Canada, Bulgaria, Belgium, Island have already held their festival. After 35 years of existence, the Francofolies de la Rochelle are arriving in Polynesia.

The event brings together six renowned artists: Peps, Skip the Use and Raphaël from the French scene, but also Jason Mist from Noumea and two local artists: Kailoa and Sissa Sue O’kota’i. To make the most of this unique festival, LA Production Tahiti is setting up free shuttles to make parking around the town hall easier. A daycare is also available, so that parents can have fun and children are safe.

This first edition of the Francofolies will be able to accommodate 3,500 spectators, at the single price of 6,500 FCP and free for children under 5 years old. Doors open at 2pm and concerts start at 3pm. The link for online ticketing is here.
