Lara Fabian pays tribute to Maurane for the five years of her death
Maurane passed away five years ago, and her friend Lara Fabian saluted her memory with a poignant message. “Mau…forever…in my heart and in my thoughts…I love you,” she posted on Instagram, captioning an excerpt from their famous duet, You are my other.
“We were linked long before, that’s what is magic. Maurane, I was the little girl who went to see her perform when I was just starting out in this business, at the age of 16-17, when I was nobody (…) I went to see Maurane, I cried while she sang. I listened to her, she had the ability to move me deeply”, had previously confided Lara Fabian to Gala.
