Every parent’s nightmare. This Friday, September 6, without anyone knowing how, a three-year-old child was able to escape from his nursery school located in Dax just minutes after being dropped off. This story was revealed on social networks by the dad. After bringing his “3 year 4 month old son at preschool at 8:40”he writes that he was called “at 9:30 a.m. telling me that my son is no longer in the school, [qu’il] managed to get out. School officials called the police”. The toddler was eventually found safe and sound in the lobby of his building.
The school meets the required security criteria
Contacted by Sud Ouest, Marie-Constance Loubère-Berthelon, deputy mayor in charge of education and youth in the city, explains thatan investigation will be conducted in order to understand how such an incident could have occurred: “We are in contact with the National Education to understand what really happened. We are not yet, for the moment, in a position to communicate”It also ensures that the school meets the required security criteria.
