Be careful, these three fruits are the sweetest

Banana: a deceptive sweetness

Bananas are one of the most widely consumed fruits in the world due to their convenience and sweet taste. However, they are among the fruits highest in sugar. A medium-sized banana contains about 14 to 17 grams of sugar, making them a quick and easily accessible source of carbohydrates for the body. While bananas are great for a post-workout energy boost, they should be eaten in moderation as part of a low-sugar or low-calorie diet. For a low-sugar alternative, opt for fruits like berries or apples, which are lower in carbohydrates and higher in fiber.

Grapes: small fruits, but lots of sugar

Grapes are small berries that contain a high amount of natural sugar. In fact, a 100-gram serving of grapes contains about 15 to 18 grams of sugar, which is relatively high compared to other fruits. They also have a fairly high glycemic index, which means they can cause a rapid spike in blood sugar levels. Grapes are delicious and convenient to snack on, but they are best consumed in small quantities if you are trying to reduce your sugar intake. Choosing them in the form of raisins can also be problematic, as drying them concentrates the sugar, making the content even higher.
