Sperm ‘superdonor’ at the heart of Netflix documentary sues platform

Is he inundated with gifts on Father’s Day? In any case, the man who claims to have fathered 550 children through sperm donation is not satisfied with the poisoned one that Netflix gave him by dedicating a documentary series to his “exploits”, reports BFMTV.

Dutchman Jonathan Meijer in fact accuses The Man with a Thousand Children – in which he refused to participate – his “sensationalism”: the documentary claims that the Dutchman would potentially be the father of 3,000 children, a figure refuted by the man who announced on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, that he would be taking Netflix to court.

“Inflated” figures

« 550 [enfants nés de ses dons de sperme]that’s the number I know for sure, the person in question defended himself on a talk show on Dutch public television NPO1. Everything that follows is just speculation. So I filed a lawsuit to fight these lies and have the documentary removed from the platform.”

The “superdonor” further believes that The Man with a Thousand Children presents him “in a bad light” and “harms the children he has fathered and their parents because they are now recognized in the street,” specifies BFMTV. He therefore intends to “protect children from the desire of the media to make them a kind of(…) - 20minutes
