An attack that has caused shock in the small town of Valdahon in Doubs. A 43-year-old educator was indeed attacked with a bladed weapon on Wednesday at his workplace by a resident, the prosecutor of Besançon, Etienne Manteaux, said on Thursday. The educator was still under observation at the hospital on Wednesday evening. “The blade penetrated, but the injury remained superficial because no organ was affected,” the prosecutor said.
The suspect is a man whose four children have been placed in care and who had an appointment with the victim at the Maison des services in Valdahon. According to The Republican Eastthe 28-year-old suspect, showed up early in the afternoon and once inside the building, grabbed a knife and lunged at the educator, stabbing him in the stomach before fleeing.
