Update on the murder of four passengers on a Chicago commuter train

VIOLENCE – Early Monday morning, a man shot and killed four people on a commuter train in Chicago, Illinois. He was arrested a few hours later.

On Monday, shortly before 5:30 a.m., four passengers were killed in a shooting on a train in the western suburb of Forest Park, near Chicago (Illinois). But what happened? Who is the killer? What happened this Monday in Chicago?

On Monday morning, a man shot four people on a Chicago Blue Line commuter train in Forest Park. Three of the victims were found dead at the scene. The fourth was taken to a local hospital, where she died. “All four victims appeared to be asleep and likely did not even see the shooter before they were killed,” Forest Park Deputy Police Chief Christopher Chin told USA Today.

After the shooting, a suspect tried to flee but was identified on surveillance video and arrested before 7 a.m. on the L train, police said. A firearm (a 9mm Glock 43, CNN reports) was also recovered during his arrest. The four victims were aged 28, 52, 60 and 64, respectively.
