Athletes’ parade ends Olympic period in style

LThe Olympic athletes’ parade began on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 4 p.m. The final event in tribute to the athletes’ performances began on the Champs-Élysées with a solemn staging featuring the masked torchbearer, who was already present at the opening of the Olympic Games.

The first to parade were the famous phryges, symbol of these Paris 2024 Games, accompanied by many volunteers who have allowed this sporting event to know the success that it had. Many supporters were present – 70,000 were expected in the capital – to celebrate sport one last time in cohesion with all the countries of the world.
