“I am devastated by the tragic loss of my friend Will and since Tuesday night I have thought first and foremost every second of his family, his wife and children, with whom I share the immense sadness and mourning,” the rapper wrote.
“I will be there for his family until the end of my days,” Koba LaD added. “Rest in peace my brother Will.”
Rapper Koba LaD, involved in a fatal accident in Créteil on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, was “charged with aggravated involuntary manslaughter and aggravated involuntary injury and placed in pre-trial detention”, AFP learned from the Créteil prosecutor’s office on Saturday, September 14.
Under the influence of “narcotics”
The rapper was leaving a studio and taking a friend home when he hit a heavy goods vehicle, his lawyers told BFMTV. The passenger died in the crash. The 24-year-old artist was under the influence of “narcotics” at the time of the fatal accident, the Créteil prosecutor’s office said.
