Mariah Carey Breaks Silence After Deaths of Her Mother and Sister
Two weeks ago, Mariah Carey made a shocking announcement: her mother, Patricia, and her sister, Alison, had passed away on the same day. Yesterday, the singer reappeared on Instagram “after two difficult weeks” to give an update and thank her fans for their support.
“Back to work,” she wrote in the caption of a video of her rehearsing her 2005 hit, It’s Like Thatnext to a pianist. “These last two weeks have been tough, but I really appreciate everyone’s love and support and I can’t wait to see my fans in China and Brazil. I love you!”

The Gallagher brothers are reportedly in talks to bring the Beatles drummer’s son back to their lineup for the Oasis reunion tour in 2025. Sunthe band would already be almost complete. Bassist Andy Bell and guitarists Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs and Gem Archer would also be back.
