Tackles, insults, blows… A former Stanislas high school teacher on trial in Valenciennes

Trial – Now aged 61, the former boarding school master at the private Parisian establishment Stanislas is accused of violence against six preparatory class students

Several months after the “Stanislas gate” that caused Amélie Oudéa-Castéra to lose her position as Minister of National Education, it is through a former member of staff that the Parisian private establishment is back in the news. This Monday, a former boarding school teacher is being tried in Valenciennes, in the North, for violence committed against students about ten years ago.

According to the six former preparatory class students who reported the facts, the defendant made them endure a real ordeal. And France Bleu lists the violence for which the sixty-year-old will have to answer: whip blows, kicks, slaps. And even tackles to the ground, not to mention insults and other psychological violence or various humiliations. All this to the detriment of at least six former students, the plaintiffs, over a period covering the years 2012 to 2018.

For his part, the suspect, originally from Valenciennes, denies outright the violence he is accused of. According to our colleagues, he even goes so far as to pose as the victim of a cabal of his accusers, all “comrades” according to him. He barely acknowledges his authoritarian attitude and some “ruckus”, but no rape(…) - 20minutes
