This Saturday evening, at En direct de l’univers, it’s quite a party which was reserved for the evening’s guest, PA Méthot. It must be said that France Beaudoin and her team pulled out all the stops to surprise the comedian, with hits from here and elsewhere and sounds drawing from several genres. Sweet music to our ears it was!
In addition, if the family is often called upon to surprise the guest of the evening, rare are the appearances as electrifying as the one given to us by Véronique Parent, PA’s partner. Shortly after the latter’s daughter gave him a memorable performance, Offenbach bassist Breen LeBoeuf also entered the stage, this time to sing the couple’s love anthem from PA : “Rock of v’lours”.
It was then that Véronique joined her voice to that of the singer to underline her 18 years of relationship with the host of the PA World, at FM93. A very moving and powerful moment at the same time, which once again testifies to the power of love and the effectiveness of the vector of emotions that is Live from the universe.
On social networks, viewers were quick to come forward, describing the performance as memorable on several occasions, in many aspects:

-At the end of the episode, Breen even treated his fans to a second song, “Purple Rain”, which did not fail to once again arouse the sympathy of the public in the studio and at home. It must be said that at 75 years old, the musician has lost none of his verve and his vocal presence!
We can therefore only reaffirm all the grandiloquence, the necessity of such a program on our televisions, which capsizes us as much as it inspires us, with each edition. This episode will once again have been the pretext for a celebration of music in all its forms. We love it!
