Brittany and seven other territories emerge from the epidemic

Thus, in France, five regions are in epidemic, Corsica passing into this phase. As are, in the Overseas Territories, Martinique, Guyana and Mayotte.

On the other hand, seven other regions of France have moved into the post-epidemic phase, including Brittany which was, like the six others, still in the epidemic phase the first week of January. Guadeloupe is also entering the post-epidemic phase.

Note the absence of alert for Île-de-France, which entered the post-epidemic phase last week, as well as in Reunion, for the second consecutive week.

According to the health agency, “a decrease in syndromic indicators of bronchiolitis was observed in town and in hospital in Week 2 for the fourth consecutive week”. And to recall that “the epidemic peak occurred in week 50 in France”, i.e. around mid-December.
