Professor Didier Raoult has not finished making people talk about him. Sanctioned by the Order of Physicians last October, which banned him from practicing medicine for two years, the great promoter of hydroxychloroquine is renewing his efforts. If no one expected to see him again, he put the spotlight back on him by creating a start-up in cosmetology.
In a Youtube video published on his personal channel, he announces the creation of the latter, hand in hand with entrepreneur Nina Basri.
“Magnifiscience”, that’s the name they decided to give it, is a “alliance between a very basic scientific approach with a very practical approach”, “a unique encounter between scientific research and cosmetology.” But then, what will this start-up sell? A range of anti-aging products based on stem cells that energize cell cultures. In short, who “maintains and repairs skin structures”.
When he directed the IHU in Marseille, Professor Raoult carried out work with the aim of understanding the role of the microbiota in acne.
