CISSS des Laurentides | Return of mandatory mask — CIME 103.9

Wearing a mask is again compulsory in certain CISSS des Laurentides facilities.

It is due to the increase in the transmission of several respiratory infections such as influenza and COVID-19 that the Integrated Health and Social Services Center is modifying its instructions.

In hospitals, visitors will have to wear a mask from today when visiting a loved one, just like healthcare workers, who will also have to wear it in a context of home support.

As for network users, it is obligatory to wear a mask in the presence of respiratory symptoms only, in all network installations.

The mask is not obligatory in other sectors, as well as in living environments such as CHSLDs, but remains strongly encouraged.
