the essential
The Gascogne Armagnac territorial professional health community took stock of 2024 and announced projects for 2025.

The president of the Gascogne Armagnac territorial professional health community (CPTS), Doctor Françoise Charrier, general practitioner in Nogaro, welcomed the participants for the general assembly, in the presence of Fleur Lheureux, representative of the D’Artagnan community of communes in Fezensac.

The Gascogne Armagnac territorial professional health community (CPTS) was created a year and a half ago by a group of caregivers to come together in the region. It brings together Nogaro, Estang, Aignan, Cazaubon, Eauze, Manciet and Vic-Fezensac. A CPTS can bring together all health professionals (general practitioners and specialists, pharmacists, nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, etc.) who wish to organize together to respond to the identified health needs of the same territory.

Karine Clos-, the coordinator of the CPTS, explains the reason for their coming to Vic-Fezensac: “Health professionals from Vic-Fezensac have joined the CTPS for six months. We meet for a friendly discussion around a review of the past year, with actions for 2024 and projections for 2025.”

Emphasis on prevention

Françoise Charrier presented the actions for 2024: “We intervened as part of “Pink October” for cancer and cervical screening; an intervention by nurses with school children on screens”. For 2025, she announced: “We want to focus on access to care and prevention. And above all, highlight the prevention of screens for young children and access to sport, with sport for everyone. We will participate in the Colon Tour in Nogaro at the entertainment room, it is an inflatable structure which represents the colon in which we can walk; this gives explanations about polyps. We will intervene in several schools to deal with screen addiction; we are going to re-establish actions with the Barbotan and Cazaubon thermal baths. A project with the Nogaro hospital on a “Health-move” day.

She knows Vic-Fezensac, having completed an internship for a year and a half at the health center: “It’s developing little by little, it’s been a year and a half since we really launched. The 100e accession was signed today. A buffet dinner followed.
