My prevention assessment is a new system launched in 2024. It allows everyone to take stock of their health and lifestyle habits at key ages: 18-25 years old, 45-50 years old, 60-65 years old and 70-75 years old. years), to obtain adapted prevention advice and a personalized prevention plan.
100% covered by Health Insurance, these assessments can be carried out by a doctor, pharmacist, midwife or nurse. Many themes can be discussed during this interview: diet, physical activity, addictions, sleep, mental health, sexual health, vaccinations, screenings, etc. Public Health France is a partner of the new “my prevention assessment” system, deployed by the responsible ministry. of Health and Health Insurance. In this context, we offer several tools to promote these assessments to populations in vulnerable situations.
“Going towards” actors: an essential role for people in vulnerable situations
An essential challenge of the system is to take into account social inequalities in health and to support people in vulnerable situations towards this prevention approach.
Indeed, people far from the health system can accumulate vulnerabilities which can be sources of difficulties in the prevention and care process (age, social and economic precariousness, level of education, digital divide, language barrier, geographical isolation, motor or psychological disabilities, loss of autonomy, mental health problems, violence suffered, etc.).
To raise awareness and support people in vulnerable situations, in the services and different places they frequent in their daily lives, a “go-to” strategy is implemented by stakeholders and professionals in conjunction with regional agencies. health.
Information materials accessible and translated into several languages
To equip relay actors, Public Health France has co-constructed with more than ten associations and professionals educational flyers and presentation videos translated into 16 languages, taking into account health literacy and disability situations. as well as a poster for reception and accommodation places.

Tools for professionals to support them in their practice
An educational leaflet intended for those involved in outreach, professionals in the social and medico-social sector or volunteers who work with these audiences has been produced and available for download and ordering. It provides guidelines for better understanding the “My prevention assessment” system, knowing how to talk about it and offering it to the audiences they meet and support. Their role is essential in explaining the issues of prevention, helping with the decision to take an assessment, facilitating the completion of the self-questionnaire, directing towards a health professional, etc.
A poster for reception areas, accommodation, public services, waiting rooms which aims to encourage people in vulnerable situations to take stock with a health professional in order to benefit from personalized advice.
