Austin Reaves' poisoned gift to beat the Warriors! • USA

It is Stephen Curry and LeBron James who launch this duel between the Warriors and the Lakers in this Christmas marathon. The five points from the first, associated with the ten from Andrew Wiggins, give Golden State an eight-point lead (23-15), but the eight points from the second and five from Dalton Knecht allow the Lakers to come back to the score, despite the exit due to injury to Anthony Davis (23-23).

If an authoritarian dunk from Jonathan Kuminga on the heads of Max Christie and Rui Hachimura makes the Chase Center rumble, it is the Lakers who take the upper hand thanks to a 16-2 launched once again by the duo James – Knecht (39-30 ) ! Dennis Schroder and Trayce Jackson-Davis stopped the bleeding and despite a good Austin Reaves, it was a hot shot from Stephen Curry that allowed the Warriors to return to the locker room with only three points behind (55-52).

The “Splash Brother” continues his momentum and his fifth 3-pointer puts the two teams back to back (67-67). The Lakers, however, moved forward, passing their opponent 17-6, finished with two 3-pointers from Austin Reaves and Rui Hachimura, to end the third quarter (84-73)!

Jonathan Kuminga wakes up the Warriors but the Lakers respond each time with Rui Hachimura and LeBron James (93-85). Despite the efforts of Stephen Curry, LeBron James and Max Christie keep the Lakers at +9 with 90 seconds to play (109-100). Stephen Curry, however, does not admit defeat, he scores 8 points in less than a minute and brings the Warriors back to level with a crazy 3-pointer with 8 seconds to play (113-113)!

However, that's enough time to see Austin Reaves beat Andrew Wiggins one-on-one and score a subtle lay-up to give the Lakers a nice Christmas present!

WHAT TO REMEMBER

– Austin Reaves, decisive. The Lakers leader finished with a triple-double (26 points, 10 assists, 10 rebounds and was excellent all evening. He scored 10 of his 26 points in the last quarter to repel the repeated assaults of Stephen Curry.

– Stephen Curry and LeBron James are beating each other up. Inseparable this summer with Team USA, Stephen Curry and LeBron James gave us another show of which they have the secret. In difficulty Monday against Indiana, Curry said he would be better and he didn't lie. He scored 17 of his 38 points, including 8/15 from distance, in the last quarter to bring the Warriors within a whisker of victory. In the end, it was the 31 points and 10 assists of a reinvigorated LeBron James who left with the victory.

– Only seven minutes of play for injured Anthony Davis. After only seven minutes of play, Anthony Davis twisted his left ankle and had to leave his partners. In his absence, it was Christian Koloko who responded with a solid entry in the first half which coincided with the Lakers' 16-2 lead. The pivot had not played in Los Angeles' last match against Detroit, and had not exceeded five minutes of play in the two matches before. He will have the opportunity to confirm if Anthony Davis has to miss several games.
