These yogurts loved by everyone should be banned according to 60 million consumers

Be careful with those yogurts that you are used to buying in stores. They are not recommended at all for your health.

Consuming dairy products is beneficial to your health. And yogurt is one of them. Except this variety which should no longer land on your table according to 60 Million consumers.

A food beneficial for health

Known to be healthy, yogurts are foods that are readily found on the menu of balanced meals. Every second, no less than 30 kilos are consumed by the French. Not far from 1 million tonnes per year.

Our fellow citizens consume nearly 170 jars each year, or 21.8 kilos! But what real benefits do these little milk pots actually bring? As you probably know, the raw material for yogurt is milk.

For it to transform, it is inoculated with specific lactic ferments which give it its new consistency. Two lactic ferments (or rather bacteria) come into play in this process.

It is du lactobacillus bulgaricus and le streptococcus thermophilus. By transforming lactose into acid, these two bacteria promote digestion and improve the intestinal flora. But this is not the only benefit that consuming yogurt brings.

These are also an excellent source of high quality protein. They are important for the body by strengthening the immune system and promoting the production of dopamine (pleasure hormone).

Of course, yogurts are also an obvious yogurt source for stock up on calcium. As well as potassium, zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, and vitamins. In summary, consuming these dairy products on a daily basis should only bring benefits.

Provided, however, that you make the right choice of product when shopping. Because not all types of yogurt are equal. If some are beneficial, others should really be banned, as 60 Million consumers would like to point out in a recent publication.

These yogurts that you should no longer buy

If plain or Greek-style specimens are interesting choices from a nutritional point of view, this is not the case for fruit yogurts. The latter are in fact the opposite of what this type of product should provide for your health.

Manufacturers like to add sugar, colorings and certain harmful additives. This is why it is best to avoid buying them.

Instead, nutritionists recommend favoring natural yogurts. Even if it means sweetening them yourself with brown sugar, honey or even maple syrup. According to nutritionist Raphaël Gruman, in a pot of fruit yogurt,“there is sometimes the equivalent of 3 to 4 squares of sugar”.

However, consuming as much sugar is not part of medical recommendations. Sugar abuse goes hand in hand with an increased risk of certain diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, obesity or cardiovascular disease.

To avoid this type of error, the best is not to consume yogurts that are already sweetened or with fruits. Don’t fall into the trap set by the 0% either. Because the fat removed from the product does not provide health satisfaction.

Worse, by removing the fat from this type of yogurt, we reduce the assimilation of calcium and vitamin D. To summarize, it is therefore better to consume a real yogurt to which you add a little unprocessed sugar or even real pieces of fresh fruit.
