Nice distinction for the Villeneuvois health center at the end of 2024. Indeed, the Lot valley hospital is ranked 36th nationally for cataract surgery, according to the annual ranking published in the weekly Le Point.

This ranking relates to 302 hospitals having performed at least 12 procedures in 2022. That year, 1,542 procedures were carried out within the Villeneuvois establishment, of which 99% of the interventions were carried out in outpatient surgery.
