Since 2020, researchers on the OCRx platform have been working on an innovative digital infrastructure aimed at solving a major health challenge: the heterogeneity of drug-related data. This platform is based on the Canadian Medicines Ontology, a framework designed to guarantee the interoperability of data and simplify their use. Thanks to the leadership of Professors Nikiema and Motulsky, this project will notably:
- improve the user interface and security of the platform;
- to design automation tools for more efficient management of requests;
- to optimize its use for various groups, including research and healthcare personnel.
A strategic collaboration
The project also benefits from the support of the Digital Health Consortium, which supports digital health initiatives to maximize their influence on the performance of the Quebec health system.
