On the occasion of Movember, an annual international charity event organized in November and dedicated to men’s health, the Morière Association of Artisans and Traders (AMAC) mobilized and collected €200 for the benefit of the League against cancer.
After committing to Pink October, AMAC once again took part in a global charity event: Movember. Throughout the month of November, men are invited to grow a mustache for 30 days in order to raise awareness and funds for research into male diseases such as prostate or testicular cancer, as well as on mental health problems.
The traders and artisans of Morières-lès-Avignon played the game by sporting their best mustaches and posing in front of the lens of award-winning Vaucluse photographer Frédéric Sicard. The photos were posted on social media to raise awareness. “Thanks to everyone’s mobilization, we were able to raise a significant amount which will help finance research and prevention of prostate and testicular cancers,” declares the photographer.
In total, €200 was collected by the Morière association for the League Against Cancer.
