Avoid fasting before festive meals

The classic mistake is to drastically reduce your diet before festive meals. This strategy is counterproductive, instead:

  • Favor balanced meals : don’t skip meals! Eat Starches, Vegetables, and Protein Before and After the Holidays
  • An enriched breakfast : opt for a morning meal rich in protein to keep you full and avoid cravings

A simple tip before the meal: soup before the aperitif

Soup is a great ally for not arriving at the table hungry. Prefer a homemade or organic version, minimally processed, made from vegetables.

  • Hydration and satiety : the soup hydrates, satiates thanks to fiber, and prepares the body to better manage excess salt and alcohol
  • Mastered aperitif : you will be able to peck without devouring and savor your glass of champagne without excess

Rest assured, occasional excesses are not catastrophic
