, incubator of tomorrow’s infectious disease experts!

The project “University Research School (EUR) UNITEID” won the call for expressions of interest “Skills and professions of the future” (AMI CMA) which is part of 2030.

Four years after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Toulouse is strengthening its commitment to the fight against emerging infectious diseases with an ambitious EUR UNITEID project. This innovative program, endowed with €5M and managed by our partners at Toulouse III University – Paul Sabatier, brings together ten institutions and draws on the expertise of 10 leading research laboratories.

EUR UNITEID will train master’s and doctoral students to anticipate, detect and manage global health crises. With an innovative “One Health” approach integrating human, animal and environmental health, this initiative responds to the challenges posed by diseases such as Covid-19, dengue fever and Monkeypox.

Supported by international experts, in particular Professor Pierre Delobel and his team from the infectious diseases department of Toulouse University Hospital, this project positions Toulouse as a center of excellence in this strategic area.

The first students will join this avant-garde training from September 2025, thus helping to shape a future better prepared for health crises.
