Facing the walls is a mirror. That of our present time facing our future, that of our condition facing an unpredictable world, that of our ego facing the Other. Six circus performers then immerse us on the other side of the mirror, thus becoming beings with many faces.
This creation then highlights the visible and the invisible in this desire to free oneself from the codes, from the gears of everyday life.
Our need for the other is highlighted here. This project questions our ability to ask for help, and to come to the aid of others. We speak of humanity, necessarily resonating with the relationship between the individual and the collective.
Our desire to take risks goes hand in hand with the desire to gain height. These individuals who defy the laws of weightlessness thus question this risk-taking: why? for whom?
And how?
A wall on stage separates people, ideas, immense and impassable spaces, only one side is visible, the other remains open to the imagination.
He tells us about intimate battles, revealing each person’s blockages, barriers and common challenges.
Facing the walls, represents a small community which faces an impasse, several impasses. Intrepid dreamers who seek to make the best of the inevitable collision of the present moment with possible futures.
It is the perpetual human search to break away from frameworks and open horizons.
