Sanofi Diabetes Research Prize: 4 research projects awarded in Rabat

Four research projects on diabetes were rewarded on Saturday in Rabat as part of the 6th edition of the Sanofi Diabetes Research Awards.

This scientific event, held in the presence of a host of researchers, academics and national and international professionals from the medical sector, aims to contribute to the development of biomedical research, particularly in diabetes.

In the “Adult and Childhood Diabetes” category, the Department of Endocrinology, Metabolic Diseases and Nutrition of the Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences (UM6SS) in Casablanca won 1st prize, while the 2nd was awarded to the Endocrinology-Diabetology Department of the Moulay Ismail Military Hospital in Meknes.

Concerning the “Digitalization of diabetes care” category, the 1st prize went to the Endocrinology-Diabetology and Nutrition Department of the Mohammed VI University Hospital Center in Oujda, while the 2nd prize was awarded to the Mohammed VI University Benguerir Polytechnic.
