Diabetes, the “silent killer”: screenings, advice and activities at Lobbes hospital on November 14

Link between health, nutrition and prevention

This year, on the occasion of World Nutrition and Diabetes Days, which are being held on November 14, 2024, the CHBA is mobilizing to promote the importance of a balanced diet and the prevention of diabetes disease. This results in a health pathway designed by the teams of the Transversal Nutrition Unit and the CHBA Diabetes Convention.

This event is open to everyone, whether patients, their families or visitors, and will take place in the main entrance hall as well as in the polyclinic on level -1 of the hospital center.

The objective is to raise awareness among the general public of the importance of a healthy lifestyle and diabetes prevention. This interactive course emphasizes the links between health, nutrition and prevention, offering several key steps to understand the actions to adopt.
