Here are the healthiest bottled water brands according to a recent French survey

Did you know? There exists 172 water brands in France. Among them, 87 natural mineral waters, 81 spring waters and 4 waters made drinkable by treatment. This is in fact what a report from the Ministry of Health and Prevention specifies. And according to a study dating from 2022, it is the Cristaline water brand which is the most sold in France, in particular, because it is inexpensive. But is this water the healthiest on the market? The magazine “60 Million Consumers” today signs a survey on these famous waters which we often buy in packs, and the classification reserves many surprises.

Bottled water, a guarantee of quality for health?

It’s a fact, tap water is considered healthy and drinkable for all adults. But there are still millions of people who buy bottled water all year round in France. Please note that before being made available in our supermarkets, this water is subject to detailed health control, implemented and ensured by the regional health agencies (ARS). This control is carried out from the resource to the bottling or carboy of the water.
