Mahdia organizes Primary Health Days

The 11th National Primary Health Days, under the inspiring theme “Communicable diseases on the front line”, were organized on Friday November 1, 2024.

The event is organized by the Association for the Promotion of Primary Health of Mahdia in collaboration with the Primary Health Group, and attracted more than 300 participants, including health professionals, researchers and other students, in the presence of the regional health director in Mahdia.

The president of the association, Majdi Belhadj Tahar, quoted by private radio IFM, considers these days important, which aim to enrich the knowledge and skills of front-line health professionals on issues linked to communicable and infectious diseases.

Workshops and conferences

Through scientific workshops and conferences, participants will have the opportunity to explore the latest developments in the management of these pathologies at a global level, thus promoting an exchange of knowledge and expertise in the current public health context. .

The objective of this event is to strengthen skills in the prevention, diagnosis, referral and treatment of infectious diseases, vital skills in the fight against these health challenges.

With this in mind, Belhadj Tahar has announced practical workshops focused on essential themes such as bacterial arthritis and its early diagnosis, meningitis, as well as urinary infections.

A holistic approach

Multidisciplinary sessions in psychological and school medicine will also be organized, highlighting the importance of a holistic approach in the field of health.

In addition, early detection sessions for hearing problems in children and practical workshops on joint diseases and emergency medicine will enrich this diverse program.

Specialists from four governorates

The speakers, from various fields, represent some of the best medical and paramedical skills in Tunis, Monastir, Mahdia and Sfax. Their expertise and commitment demonstrate the collective desire to advance the health sector in Tunisia.
