Open since the end of June, the new bistro “Chez moi” has completed its transformation. The business located on Avenue des Pyrénées wishes to gain momentum.

“We want to break the idea of the PMU café.” Taken over at the end of June and reopened a few weeks later, the former “Café 12” changed owners and perspectives: “We started everything from scratch. We worked like crazy for 15 days, taking turns morning and evening between two teams”, remembers the new manager. With this takeover, he wants to create a new dynamic: “We would rather have the image of a warm bistro,” explains Ahmed.

The central bar has also had a facelift.

The kitchen, which was only open at lunchtime, has also been greatly disrupted: “We tend to cook more elaborate cuisine, with local and fresh products. We want our customers to come here as at home, with dishes comforting, fast and of good quality.” Despite this ambition, the new manager announces falling prices.

The change was made in the dining room, in the kitchen, but also from the staff point of view with a 100% new team. After two months of opening, the boss draws up an initial assessment of this new cycle: “We are very happy with the first weeks, we have seen a renewal of customers with, among other things, the arrival of neighbors, craftsmen or “Every day is better than the last,” he smiles.

The bistro is open Monday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
