In Marseille, this breast cancer center is equipped with the latest technologies to better diagnose and ensure comfort for patients.
In general the word mammogram does not evoke anything good except stress and sometimes even pain. It is often with fear in the stomach that patients present themselves for their examination.
To soften these moments, the Paoli-Calmettes Institute sets up different tools. For example, a light ceiling depicting a landscape just above the mammography machine. The latest machine installed, financed thanks to associations fighting against breast cancer, is equipped with artificial intelligence. It is also an asset of comfort for the patient, since the paddles which encompass the breast are more ergonomic.
