For the third consecutive year, an exceptional event took place on October 3, 2024: a meal show organized by the Bel Horizon association to raise funds for the fight against cancer.
Bel Horizon, an association of volunteers, has been mobilizing for many years to support cancer research. It regularly organizes solidarity actions, such as lotteries, raffles and even meal shows.
On October 3, 2024, the association organized its meal show at the Saint-Girons exhibition center. On the menu: a delicious meal prepared and served by students from the François Camel vocational high school, and a professional musical show presented by the Liberta group. The festive atmosphere was there. During the evening, representatives of the Saint-Girons Sporting Club offered a check for €1,500 to the association.
The profits from the evening will be entirely donated to the Oncopole of Toulouse, a reference center in cancerology and innovative research. The Oncopole notably has a nursing coordination and telephone monitoring system “Coach” which helps patients to better experience their care journey.
To the great satisfaction of Anne-Marie Boutet, president of the association, and her team, all the places had been reserved even before the event was announced. Everything was complete. 250 people responded. You can continue to support the association in future actions.
The annual lottery will take place on November 16, 2024 at the exhibition center at 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 8:30 p.m., in the Saint-Lizier cathedral, a concert will take place with the polyphonic singing group Les Divines. Throughout the month of October, as part of Pink October, ballot boxes will be placed in partner businesses to participate in the raffle. And to top it all off, the association is offering an exceptional concert with the Nadau group on Saturday September 13, 2025.
