At a time when pharmacies deliver flu vaccines and can vaccinate patients immediately, nurses want to remind us that they are “an essential link in the care pathway, from the prevention stage to the initiation of treatments. treatments and the provision of technical care”.

“He is one of the rare healthcare professionals who still comes to the patient’s home. He practices, once or several times a day, every day even at night if necessary, all the necessary treatments. He has knowledge of the state of health of his patients, he knows how to give them confidence and make them aware of the need to be vaccinated. »

“Private nurses know how to adapt during the vaccination campaign to be able to accommodate patients who can come to their office, they increase their presence time, offer time slots dedicated to vaccination sessions. They extend the duration of care rounds at patients’ homes. Concomitant Flu/Covid vaccination is of course offered and carried out to anyone eligible for these two vaccinations. »

The Territoire de has 172 nurses, spread across around sixty practices.
