everything you need to know about breast reconstruction with the Léon-Bérard center

On the occasion of Pink October, a month dedicated to breast cancer, the Léon-Bérard center (CLB) is offering a day dedicated to breast reconstruction, on Tuesday October 8.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in hall 1: Forum with professionals involved in the reconstruction process (tattoo artist, dermographer, prosthetist, etc.) and associations.

At 4 p.m. in the Oncora room (free access, without registration), CLB professionals will host a conference around the themes: from mastectomy to secondary breast reconstruction (Dr Mellie Heinemann, surgeon); immediate breast reconstruction (Dr Sophie Klingler, surgeon), innovative techniques in breast reconstruction (Drs Marie Osdoit and Délia Dammacco, surgeons), prophylactic mastectomy outside of oncogenetic indications (Dr Guilhem Paillard-Brunet, psychiatrist).

The CLB also offers other events as part of Pink October: an association forum, Tuesday October 10 in hall 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; the play “The little girl who wanted to save the world” by Isabelle Laurent, Thursday October 17 at 6 p.m., Oncora room (weezevent.com ticket office); and a photo shoot for patients offered by a professional photographer.
