On the occasion of Heart Day, the Parc clinic is organizing a cardiovascular risk prevention day open to all, this Tuesday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cardiovascular diseases remain the leading cause of death in women and the second leading cause of death in men. They are a major public health problem.
The Parc clinic teams are working in partnership with the Cœur et santé association (French Federation of Cardiology), France rein Hérault, the Inovie laboratory and the CPTS Montpellier Nord to raise awareness of the importance of prevention, early detection and appropriate care.
On the program
Screening for high blood pressure, diabetes and chronic kidney disease (cardiovascular risk factor) will be offered. A cardiovascular disease information and prevention workshop and an information and awareness workshop on kidney disease screening will also be organized. Dietary and nutritional advice will also be provided.
The screenings are free and without appointment. Their purpose is to detect possible heart disease or kidney disease and to emphasize the importance of regular check-ups in light of age and family history.
The Parc clinic, through its cardiology care offering, covers the entire patient pathway, from diagnostic assessment to emergency treatment, hospitalization and patient therapeutic education. In particular, it has a cardiology intensive care unit and a cardiology emergency department. Continuity of care in cardiac rehabilitation is also offered thanks to a close medical cooperation agreement with the Pic Saint-Loup clinic, a medical care and rehabilitation facility located in Saint-Clément-de-Rivière. Another area of expertise is that the nephrologists at the Parc clinic are responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of all kidney diseases that affect blood filtration, the primary function of the kidneys.
Thanks to the complementarity of its medical skills and techniques, the Parc clinic offers a versatile range of care enabling multidisciplinary care.
More than 200 specialist doctors and surgeons, supported by a comprehensive technical platform, provide private consultations, surgical procedures, emergency care and hospitalization monitoring.
